Vercel has extended the maximum session duration for Vercel Sandboxes from 5 hours to 24 hours, available now on all Pro and Enterprise plans.

The change directly enables workloads that previously could not fit inside a single session: large-scale data processing, end-to-end testing pipelines, and long-lived agentic workflows. Paired with persistent sandboxes, state can survive across extended runs without manual intervention.

The full documentation covers pricing limits and the persistent sandbox configuration, both worth reading if you are running anything close to the old 5-hour ceiling.
