Axiom Space and Prada have unveiled the Liquid Cooling and Ventilation Garment, the base layer astronauts will wear inside the AxEMU spacesuit during the Artemis IV lunar mission, targeted for 2028.

The LCVG circulates cold water through embedded tubes to pull heat from the body during spacewalks. It also includes a backup cooling system, a feature absent from older suits, and houses the primary ventilation system.
