Vercel Sandbox no longer charges for inbound data downloads. Installing packages, cloning Git repositories, and pulling external artifacts or datasets are all exempt from Sandbox Data Transfer billing, effective now.
The exemption is narrow and specific. Inbound traffic on exposed Sandbox ports remains billable, as does outbound traffic sent to the internet. Active CPU, Provisioned Memory, Snapshot Storage, and Sandbox Creation pricing are all unchanged.
The pricing documentation has the full line-item breakdown, worth checking if your workloads are dependency-heavy or dataset-intensive. The delta between old and new costs could be meaningful at scale.
