Project Glasswing is a multi-organization security initiative backed by AWS, Anthropic, Apple, Broadcom, Cisco, CrowdStrike, Google, JPMorganChase, the Linux Foundation, Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Palo Alto Networks, formed specifically around capabilities observed in Claude Mythos Preview, an unreleased general-purpose frontier model from Anthropic.

The project exists because Mythos Preview demonstrated something concrete enough that twelve of the largest names in technology and finance agreed to coordinate around it. That specificity, a named unreleased model triggering a formal multi-industry coalition, is the detail worth sitting with.

The full video will clarify what Mythos Preview actually does, which attack surfaces it addresses, and what the Linux Foundation's governance role looks like inside a coalition otherwise dominated by for-profit giants. Read it for the architecture, not the announcement.
